  5.         Keypad to make many different symbols like the smiling faces,
  6.         musical notes, beeps, and shapes like diamonds, hearts,
  7.         spades and clubs.

  9.         These characters and symbols are part of the ASCII
  10.         Character codes  and IBM Extended Character Codes.

  12.         These characters are easy to make. Just hold down the Alt key
  13.         and press the code number of a character or symbol, like Alt
  14.         and 1, you get this , or Alt and 2, you get .
  15.         Pressing Alt and 201  makes this ╔ corner of a box.  ╔═══╗
